About Sam Lipshutz

Friedman, Cohen, Taubman & Company, LLC’s Sam Lipshutz, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) candidate, offers clients essential tax-related services. With financial experience stemming from his successful internships, academic career, and extracurricular involvement, Sam Lipshutz contributes his exceptional business skills to this Southeast Florida award-winning accounting firm. Prior to joining Friedman, Cohen, Taubman & Company, LLC, Sam Lipshutz assisted the prestigious American Express Company as its Operations Training Intern. During the summer of 2004, Sam Lipshutz evaluated training methods used to instruct over 1,000 of the corporation’s employees. Two years later, Sam Lipshutz gained familiarity with financial planning software while interning with Ameriprise Financial, Inc., a leading business development company with more than 2 million clients. In 2009, Sam Lipshutz earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting (B.S.Ac.) and his Master of Accounting (M.Acc.) from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business Administration. Preceding graduation, Sam Lipshutz completed a comprehensive curriculum consisting of classes like Mergers and Acquisitions & Consolidated Statements, Accounting Institutions & Professional Literature, Tax Professional Research, Strategic Management, Commercial Law for Accountants, and Advanced Business Writing for Accounting. Additionally, Sam Lipshutz surpassed the minimum requirements of a 3.0 GPA and a 500 score on the Graduate Management Admission Test(R), or GMAT(R). While enrolled at the University of Florida, Sam Lipshutz maintained active memberships with several campus organizations, including the Student Senate, Rules and Ethics Committee, Research Cabinet, and Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity Officers Council. With a passion for helping others succeed economically, Sam Lipshutz strives to expand his financial credentials. He recently completed CPA examination in hopes of obtaining official recognition as a United States Certified Public Accountant. In addition to his professional contributions, Sam Lipshutz serves the Jewish community through several affiliations, including Temple Dor Dorim and the North American Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY). When he is not playing basketball, football, or tennis, Sam Lipshutz enjoys watching television shows like The Office and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
